Jesus and his Apostles taught
The Kingdom of GOD to the Jews.
Apostle Paul taught the Salvation through Jesus Christ to the Body of Christ.

GOD's name is being abused and put to shame by so called Priests and Ministers, as well as by politicians on a permanent basis.
This has to stop.

GOD does NOT support war or killing.  Feel free to look at the Commandments and be aware that the Old Testament is the history of the Jews and is to be seen as such. Being Christian, it does not apply to us. Our teachings come directly from GOD, Jesus and the Apostle Paul.
And no, we don't spread any hate, ever. We spread Love and Facts.
If you consider Love and Facts to be something evil, you might be another neo-con or right wing nut and you should keep listening to Fox News and ignore Christ.

We want to make a clear distinction between “moderate Muslims” and “radical Islamists and Jihadists.” We expect that immigrants who come voluntarily to Europe or the US accept our culture and its framework, which is - or should be - characterized by democracy, pluralism, equal rights, no discrimination of gender, race and religion, freedom of speech and free media.  We believe that moderate Muslims can accept these principles without losing their identity. The majority of our population is ready to integrate these people.

On the other hand, we have to fight against the radical Islamists and Jihadists as well as radical Christians who want to abolish our constitution, our laws and rules as well as our way of life.

We are defending in our commentaries the moderate Muslims, which are almost all Muslims, NOT the small group of mislead terrorists that want to destroy our way of life.

Going to church

 makes you a car

Church of Christian Reformation | The Eternal Church of Jesus Christ

Welcome to our Church of Christian Reformation,
The Eternal Church of Jesus Christ's message

"How can you claim Jesus Christ as your savior and despise his teachings at the same time"?

"You say there is only one GOD, the father. How can you hate your brother
This amazing and unique crucifix with Jesus rising from the cross instead of dying on it, hangs more than lifesize in the catholic church St. Anthony of Padua, 1050 W. 163th Street in Gardena, California 90247. Finally somone understood the message and someone was progressive enough to commission this wonderful work of art. Amen!for trying to please your father in a different way than you do"?

Rev. Alexander's News & Views

Rev. Dr. Alexander Hast - Message of Love and Peace!

Religion and Spirituality - Bernie Sanders Fights for Jesus Christ's Agenda

A few days ago, a picture was shared with me on facebook that stated: "RELIGION is a person sitting in church thinking about kayaking - SPRITUALITY is a person sitting in a kayak thinking of GOD". And I re-shared it right away, since this is really the truth that everyone needs to hear. If you go to church, think about GOD, think about all the things he has done for you, in your life, for your family, for your children, and really, all of them are for you. Because they make you happy. Even those things that you don’t recognize as blessings right away. In the end (think about it before you answer) they were all leading up to the point where you are. Happy. And if you are not happy yet, give it a little time. GOD will always take care of you.

And since we are a very political church – Jesus Christ was really a Socialist – I would like to add a few political ideas. Personally I think that, even though all civilized countries have single payer health care, the majority of Americans are not ready to support Bernie Sanders. Not even Catholics and Christians. Even though he is trying to make Jesus Christ’s agenda a reality. But all those churches preach either indifference or hate by supporting people like Cruz, Rubio, etc. who want to bomb any country except for the US back to the stone age if their financial backers tell them to. That is why the rest of the world silently sees us as a third world country. Because socially we are a third world country – when it comes to fire power we are not. That’s why our allies are silent. As much as I like Hillary, and I really do, the real candidate for anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is Bernie Sanders. Because he advocates Jesus Christ’s agenda and not the one of his opponent.

Amen

Funny story - Obama invades Texas?

The Operation Jade Helm 15 has really scared the totally crazies... While I was pondering the possibility of a (probably right wing) government in the future to rely on the experience of this maneuver for crowd and citizen control, the crazies totally took off. They think that President Obama has come to conquer Texas. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is helping fan the flames by ordering the Texas National Guard to monitor the operation so that “Texans know their safety, constitutional rights, private property rights and civil liberties will not be infringed.” Yeah, don't mess with Texas, Ted Nugent and the KKK. Amazing, which level of racism and basic stupidity is possible in the US of A of 2015.

Amen

Are the gun nuts right after all?

The US is an interesting phenomenon. When you ask people to keep the crazies away from guns, they feel their freedom is at stake and in danger. If you ask to keep the guns away from those who accidently shoot little children and innocent bystanders, they are ready to go to battle with you. In civilized (and many less civilized) countries, gun ownership is regulated. More than 10,000 gun deaths in our country per year compared to double digits in other countries show that it might be a good idea to do so. Now, I am having second thoughts, if the gun-nuts might actually have a point and if it might be a good idea to keep a weapon close. Our friends at www.WantToKnow.info who are usually in possession of reliable information that they gather from news sources all over the world, found this article:

Why Operation Jade Helm 15 is freaking us out
March 31, 2015, Washington Post
http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2015/03/31/why-the-new...

Elite service members from four branches of the U.S. military will launch an operation this summer in which they will operate covertly among the U.S. public and travel from state to state in military aircraft. Texas, Utah and a section of southern California are labeled as hostile territory, and New Mexico isn’t much friendlier. That’s the scheme for Jade Helm 15, a new Special Operations exercise that runs from July 15 to Sept. 15. Army Special Operations Command announced it last week, saying the size and scope of the mission sets it apart from many other training exercises. The exercise has prompted widespread conspiracy theories that the United States is preparing to hatch martial law. In particular, some have expressed alarm about this map, which outlines events for the exercise in unclassified documents posted online last week. The Washington Post verified them to be legitimate by speaking to Army sources. They appear to have been prepared for local authorities. It’s also worth noting that the military has routinely launched exercises in the past in which regions of the United States are identified as hostile for the purpose of training.

Note: This Washington Post article is clearly playing down some important facts and developments. Why is the US military spending so much time and money preparing for scenarios where US soil and citizens are considered enemies? Read and educate yourself with this excellent article on Operation Jade Helm 15, one in a string of US exercises planning for mass civilian arrests under a variety of scenarios.

An interesting development, especially now, that some of the 9/11 backgrounds are beginning to come to light. Since 9/11 was an inside job for the benefit of Halliburton, and the military industrial complex, there is no doubt in my mind, that the powers that be would be willing to use our own military against us. The National Guard is already being used against certain minorities, and if the economic situation gets worse, an uprising might not be out of the question. The rich are getting richer, the poor are getting poorer, and instead of addressing this problem by fixing the economy, the military might be the preferred option of the people in power. If they call themselves Christians, they should at least waste a few thoughts of what Jesus would do. Kill the civilians, or help them to live a decent life? We will see how Christian the decision will be.

Amen

Stop destroying the earth in GOD's name

No, the Lord is not pleased with us humans. We were not supposed to destroy the earth, Mother Nature, or ourselves in such a short time. Greed and arrogance are still the causes for our demise. GOD sent Jesus to change the message from hate to love. Why don’t we listen? Mohammed taught love. Why don’t we listen?

Because the people who spread the word, use the word for their purposes. And they lie to their world. The Christians to the Christian world – Millions have died in the name of the Christian GOD. When people used other people for their greed. Millions are still dying and will die in the name of GOD, since all teachings of Jesus are turned around to the opposite. No, Jesus does not want war, Jesus loved peace. No, there are no exceptions. War is a means to enrich the rich even further. Nothing else. You shall not kill. You shall not lie, you shall not steal. Look at the so called “followers” of Jesus. They kill, lie and steal in HIS name. Against his will. For their greed.

Humanity is committing suicide by ignoring climate change, by exhausting GOD’s gifts to us, like the destruction of Mother Nature. The deforestation of the Amazon, drilling for oil in areas that die as a result of it, the systematic extinction of animals, plants and ultimately ourselves was not in GOD’s plan. We were supposed to take care of his gifts, not destroy the Garden of Eden in the short span of a few generations.

Solar, Wind and other renewable sources could power our peaceful civilization. The Greed of Big Oil, of the War machine, the military industrial complex, and the corporations that ruthlessly extinguish man and animals alike without any thought of survival of our species, are destroying us. And since the PR is so good that too many fall for it, politics remains in the hands of the corporations. And they don’t care about survival. They care about money.

You can’t eat, drink or breathe money.

And please don’t destroy humanity in GOD’s name. Do it in your own. You really deserve the credit.

Amen

ISIS - Unholy Alliance

The world is currently in chaos. More and more it becomes clear that the Bush years have let us in chaotic circumstances for decades to come. ISIS is born out of the vacuum that Cheney's "Blood for Oil and Trillions for Halliburton" politics have left the middle east with, after he orchestrated 9-11 to start the war in the middles east. Have a look at the "Lone Gunman" pilot episode that gave him the brilliant idea. Together with Bush's friends (the Bin Laden family)in Saudi Arabia it was easy to pull off (the information is slowly creeping into the mainstream media), even though Bin Laden inititally refused to take responsibility for 9-11, his own or the Bush family convinced him to ultimately admit to something he had not done. The FBI never "wanted" him for 9-11. For many other attacks that he had actually committed yes, but never for the 9-11 attack that was pulled off under Dick Cheney's leadership. But I digress.

ISIS or ISIL is a product of the Bush/Cheney greed to make more money, regardless of the cost. And we are paying now. The world is paying now for the big cheat that started with a false 9/11. Last night Chris Matthews asked the question on TV why we invaded IRAQ when 15 of the 9/11 Terrorists were from Saudi Arabia (the home of the Bin Ladens). Good question Chris, just a bit late...

The world and we here in the US are in deep trouble. How can 50% of a "Western Civilisation" governing body deny science? It is unbelievable and shameful that 50% of the US congress are complete idiots (some may say that this is not news, but nonetheless, it is hard to believe).

How stupid can you get? And the problem is that they are playing dumb with our future at stake, with our children's future at stake, just to make a few dollars more for their unscrupulus owners, or donors, however you want to call their bosses. Corporations are not people. That's why they don't breathe, they don't eat and they don't care. Our lives will soon end with this absolutely insane governing of our being. Putting corporations before people. And claiming Jesus for their BS at the same time.  Jesus was on the side of the poor, critizising the rich, the powerful, the greedy. Yes, the exact bad people that are trying to tell you that Jesus Christ was a CEO.

God bless America. We really need it now.

Amen

Suppressed Truth in the US -
Here are the 25 Top Articles of 2014

It is a tradition for me to publish this annual list of the most censored subjects in the US press.

To give you a heads up what is going on in the Media department, here is another article from our friends at www.WantToKnow.info, who keep track of the Truth and are worthy of your support.

Project Censored specializes in covering the top stories which were subjected to press censorship either by being ignored or downplayed by the mainstream media each year. Project Censored is a research team composed of more than 300 university faculty, students, and community experts who annually review many hundreds of news story submissions for coverage, content, reliability of sources, and national significance.

The top 25 stories selected are submitted to a distinguished panel of judges who then rank them in order of importance. The results are published each year in an excellent book available for purchase at their website, amazon.com, and most major book stores.

A summary of the top 25 press censorship stories of 2014 provided below proves quite revealing and most informative. Each summary has a link for those who want to read the entire article. For whatever reason the mainstream media won't report these stories. Yet thanks to the Internet and wonderful, committed groups like Project Censored, the news is getting out. By revealing these examples of press censorship, we can stop the excessive secrecy and work together for a brighter future. And don't miss the "What you can do" section. Please help to spread the word, and take care.

Note: Thanks to the San Francisco Bay Guardian and Joe Fitzgerald Rodriguez for use of excerpts from their summaries. To find all of these stories and their sources on the Project Censored website, click here. The press censorship stories below actually cover a 12-month period spanning 2013 and 2014.

Top 25 Stories of 2014 Subjected to Press Censorship

1. Ocean Acidification Increasing at Unprecedented Rate (For full story, click here)

Our oceans are acidifying — even if the nightly news hasn't told you yet. It’s well known that burning fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide into the air. Less understood is that 25% of this carbon dioxide is absorbed by oceans. The average acidity of surface ocean waters worldwide is more than 30% greater than at the start of the industrial revolution. The rising carbon dioxide in our oceans burns up and deforms the smallest, most abundant food at the bottom of the food chain. One vulnerable population is the tiny sea butterfly. In only a few short decades, the death and deformation of this fragile species could endanger predators all along the oceanic food web, scientists warn. This "butterfly effect" threatens fisheries that feed over 1 billion people worldwide. Our oceans may slowly cook our food chain into new forms with potentially catastrophic consequences. Scientists initially believed that fish would not be directly affected by ocean acidification, but recent research indicates otherwise. From clownfish (remember Nemo?) to walleye pollock (got fish sticks?) scientists have found that exposure to high levels of carbon dioxide scramble fish’s sense of smell, hearing, and sight. There is little funding for research on ocean acidification and its affects.

2. Top Ten US Aid Recipients All Practice Torture (For full story, click here)

Sexual abuse, children kept in cages, extra-judicial murder. While these sound like horrors the US would never support, the reverse is true: The top ten nations receiving US foreign assistance in fiscal year 2014 all are known to practice torture, and at least half are reported to be doing so on a massive scale. Yet, the US is a signatory of the United Nations' Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment. Israel received over $3 billion in US aid for fiscal year 2013-14, according to a Congressional Research Service report. Israel was criticized by the country's own Public Defender's Office for torturing children suspected of minor crimes. The next top recipients of US foreign aid were Afghanistan, Egypt, Pakistan, Nigeria, Jordan, Iraq, Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda. All countries were accused of torture by human rights groups such as Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch. When the US funds a highway or other project that it's proud of, it plants a huge sign proclaiming "your tax dollars at work." When the US funds torturers, the corporate media bury the story, or worse, don't report it at all.

3. Trans-Pacific Partnership: Secret Deal to Help Corporations (For full story, click here)

On Nov. 13, 2013, WikiLeaks published a section of a trade agreement called the Trans-Pacific Partnership Treaty, or TPP. On the surface, the treaty is meant to facilitate trade among Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore, the US, and Vietnam. However, there are a number of red flags. Eight hundred million people, and one-third of all world trade, stand to be affected by the treaty, yet only three people from each member nation have access to the entire document. Meanwhile, six hundred “corporate advisors,” representing big oil, pharmaceutical, and entertainment companies, are involved in the writing and negotiations of the treaty. The lack of coverage in corporate US media is disconcerting. Japanese, Australian, and Russian media discuss the TPP openly, while American news sources remain silent—even as the Obama administration attempts to fast-track it through Congress. Many criticized the secrecy surrounding the TPP, arguing the real world consequences may be grave. Doctors Without Borders wrote, "If harmful provisions in the US proposals for the [TPP] agreement are not removed before it is finalized, this trade deal will have a real cost in human lives."

4. Corporate Internet Providers Threaten Net Neutrality (For full story, click here)

As this year's book from Project Censored went to press, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) had just publicly revealed its proposed new rules for Internet traffic. A 3–2 vote by the FCC opened a four-month window for formal public comments on how strict those rules should be, and galvanized corporate media attention on the issue of net neutrality. By contrast, for months leading up to this development, independent journalists had been informing the public about the anticipated showdown over net neutrality and the stakes in that battle with virtually no media coverage. Since then, Verizon v. FCC has been well covered by both corporate and independent media. However, corporate outlets such as the New York Times and Forbes tend to highlight the business aspects of the case, skimming over vital particulars affecting the public and the Internet’s future.

5. Bankers Remain on Wall Street Despite Major Crimes (For full story, click here)

Bankers responsible for rigging municipal bonds and bilking billions of dollars from American cities have largely escaped criminal charges. Dominick Carollo, Steven Goldberg, and Peter Grimm were dubbed a part of the "modern American mafia," by the Rolling Stone's Matt Taibbi, one of the few journalists to consistently cover their trial. Every day in the US, low-level drug dealers get more prison time than these scheming bankers who rigged auctions of municipal bonds, essentially stealing from projects intended to build public schools, hospitals, libraries, and nursing homes in virtually every US state. The three had been convicted in 2012 for this. However, in November 2013, those convictions were reversed on a technicality: Because it took federal prosecutors so long to build the massive case, the statute of limitations ran out. Meanwhile, disturbingly uninformed cable media "journalists" defended the bankers, saying they shouldn't be prosecuted for "failure," as if cheating vulnerable Americans were a bad business deal. Over the course of decades, the nation's bankers transformed into the modern mafioso. Unfortunately, our modern media changed as well, and are no longer equipped to tackle systemic, complex stories.

6. The Deep State: Government “Without Reference to the Consent of the Governed” (For full story, click here)

Concerned citizens are condemning the US government’s lack of transparency, accountability, and honest constituent representation. Mike Lofgren, a congressional staff member for 28 years specializing in national security, addressed the issue of the “deep state” that undemocratically orchestrates unchecked private agendas, while corporate media distract the public’s attention by focusing on traditional Washington partisan politics. Lofgren contended that, although the deep state is “neither omniscient nor invincible,” it is a “relentlessly well entrenched,” association of elements of government and parts of top-level finance and industry that is effectively able to govern the US without reference to the consent of the governed.” Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL), the House Financial Services Committee incoming chairman in 2010, openly flouted constitutional rights when he stated, “My view is that Washington and the regulators are there to serve the banks.” Corporate media do little to draw attention to the hidden wealthy elites who undemocratically control our government, because these elites own the major media.

7. FBI Dismisses Murder Plot against Occupy as NSA Cracks Down on Dissent (For full story, click here)

In October 2011, when the Occupy movement arrived in Houston, protesters were subject to local and federal surveillance, infiltration by police provocateurs, and police assault. Months later, a document obtained in December 2012 from the Houston FBI office shows that the agency was aware of a plot to assassinate Occupy movement leaders—and did nothing about it. And in Arizona, law enforcement collaborated with JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon divulging Occupy plans. The CEO claimed he was simply avoiding possible protests, and local law enforcement was happy to help. Government documents from the National Security Agency and other government offices revealed a grim mosaic of ‘counter-terrorism’ operations and negative attitudes toward activists and other citizens.

8. Ignoring Extreme Weather Connection to Global Warming (For full story, click here)

News analyses have found mainstream media frequently report on severe weather changes without discussing global warming as a possible cause. A study by Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting found extreme weather events in 2013 spurred 450 broadcast news segments, only 16 of which even mentioned climate change. National news outlets have fallen on the job as well, as The New York Times recently shuttered its environmental desk and its Green blog, reducing the number of reporters exclusively chasing down climate change stories. Unlike many journalists, ordinary people often recognize the threat of our warming planet. Over 400,000 protested in the People's Climate March in New York City alone, while simultaneous protests erupted across the globe, calling for government, corporate, and media leaders to address the problem.

9. US Media Hypocrisy in Covering Ukraine Crisis (For full story, click here)

The US battle with Russia over Ukraine's independence is actually an energy pipeline squabble, a narrative lost by mainstream media coverage. Russian President Vladimir Putin has drawn fire from the media as a tyrant, without complex analyses of his country's socio-economic interests. As the media often do, they have turned the conflict into a cult of personality, talking up Putin's shirtless horseback riding and his hard-line style with deftness missing from their political analysis. Secretary of State John Kerry declaimed the Russian intervention as “a nineteenth-century act in the twenty-first century.” What Russia’s US critics seem to forget is the United States’ own history of overthrowing democratic governments, including the invasion of Iraq, which Kerry supported. Corporate media also fail to acknowledge that Putin ordered the occupation of Kiev after a coup led at least partly by neo-Nazis—conditions arguably less criminal than the US invasion of Iraq, which the US legitimized with false claims.

10. World Health Organization Suppresses Report on Iraqi Cancers and Birth Defects (For full story, click here)

The United States' legacy in Iraq possibly goes beyond death to a living nightmare of cancer and birth defects, due to the military's use of depleted uranium weapons, a World Health Organization study found. Iraq is poisoned. Much of the report's contents were leaked to the BBC during its creation. But the release of the report, completed in 2012 by WHO, has stalled. Critics claim the US is deliberately blocking its release, masking a damning Middle East legacy rivaling the horrors of Agent Orange in Vietnam. But Iraq will never forget the US intervention, as mothers cradle babies deformed from the womb, the continuing gifts of our invasion.

11. Wealthy Donors and Corporations Set Think Tanks’ Agendas (For full story, click here)

Think tanks provide information and analysis to policy makers and the public, making them increasingly influential institutions in our political process. However, many think tanks—including the Brookings Institution, Heritage Foundation, American Enterprise Institute, Cato Institute, and the RAND Corporation, among others—receive significant financial backing from extremely wealthy corporations and/or individuals. Because the law does not require public disclosure of donors’ identities, these relationships raise the issue of whether think tanks’ analyses and recommendations are tainted by donor agendas.

12. Pentagon Awash in Money Despite Serious Audit Problems (For full story, click here)

Congress is expanding the Pentagon’s 2014 budget by $32 billion. The Pentagon currently receives over $600 billion, when its current budget is combined with supplemental war funding. One out of every five US tax dollars is spent on defense. Where does the money go? “The exact answer is a mystery,” wrote Dave Gilson for Mother Jones. “That’s because the Pentagon’s books are a complete mess.” As the Government Accountability Office dryly noted, the Pentagon has “serious financial management problems” that render its financial statements “inauditable.”

13. Lawsuit Challenges Nuclear Power Industry Immunity from Liability in Nuclear Accidents (For full story, click here)

A lawsuit filed by lawyers on behalf of 1,415 plaintiffs, including 38 residents of Fukushima and 357 persons from outside Japan, holds not only the Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) but also Toshiba, Hitachi, and General Electric responsible for the 2011 meltdown of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant. Historically, manufacturers and operators of nuclear power plants have been granted immunities in liability for accidents. The Fukushima case is a landmark challenge to nuclear power plant manufacturers’ immunity from liability in nuclear accidents.

14. Evidence of Ongoing Wireless Technology Health Hazards (For full story, click here)

Wireless phones emit radio-frequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMFs) when in use. In May 2011, after the consideration of laboratory studies, studies of long-term use of wireless phones, and data on the incidence of brain tumors, the World Health Organization (WHO) determined RF-EMFs to be a “possible” human carcinogen. Other studies have shown an association between long-term mobile and cordless phone use with glioma and acoustic neuroma.

15. Reporting Miscarriages, Criminalizing Pregnant Women’s Bodies (For full story, click here)

A proposed bill before the Kansas state legislature would require women to report miscarriages at any stage in pregnancy. This has been described as the first step along the path to criminalizing pregnant women’s bodies. Under an amendment attached to House Bill 2613, doctors would be required to report all of their patients’ miscarriages to the state health department.

16. The Beef Industry Supports Feeding Cattle Chicken Poop (For full story, click here)

The beef industry increasingly feeds cattle “poultry litter,” scraped from chicken coop floors, a practice that risks the spread of mad cow disease—yet the Food and Drug Administration [FDA] has done nothing to stop it. In 1997, the FDA made it illegal to feed dead cows to living cows, the main cause of the disease. In response, the beef industry teamed up with the poultry industry to exploit a major loophole in the 1997 law. The poultry industry feeds the dead remains of cattle to chickens and other poultry; the mess created by poultry, known as “litter,” is then sold to the cattle producer who feed it to cattle that the public eats.

17. Gaza Running Out of Drinking Water (For full story, click here)

In Gaza, 1.7 million Palestinians currently live without clean drinking water. Over 80 percent of Gazans buy their drinking water, with some families paying as much as a third of their household income. Gaza relies on a single aquifer for all of its fresh water. It is contaminated with sewage, chemicals, and seawater. A recent United Nations report warned that “the aquifer could become unusable as early as 2016, with the damage irreversible by 2020.”

18. National Database of Police Killings Aims for Accountability (For full story, click here)

Although the FBI tracks how many police officers die in the line of duty, it keeps no such record for how many civilians are killed by police each year. Recognizing a significant gap in the public records of civilian deaths at the hands of law enforcement officers, D. Brian Burghart, the editor of the Reno News & Review and a journalism instructor at University of Nevada, decided to create a public database. Burghart has compiled a list of police agencies across the country to facilitate public record requests about fatal incidents.

19. Agribusiness Giants Silence and Discredit Scientists Whose Research Reveals Health Threats of Herbicides (For full story, click here)

Big Agriculture giants Monsanto and Syngenta have silenced the findings and destroyed the reputations of scientists whose research shows that the companies’ herbicides pose serious threats to human health. As one example among many, in Sept. 2012, Dr. Gilles-Éric Séralini published research in the Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicology. His findings showed the toxic impact of Monsanto’s herbicide and genetically modified corn. However, after publication, the journal made the unprecedented decision to retract the study. A new connection between the journal and Monsanto might account for the retraction.

20. Estonia a Global Example of E-Government, Digital Freedom, Privacy, and Security (For full story, click here)

Since Estonia regained independence in 1991, its government has sought to redesign the nation’s entire information infrastructure with goals of openness, privacy, and security. The technology platform that Estonia built to serve its citizens sets an example for the rest of the world. Each citizen has one identification number to use across all systems, from paper passport to bank records to any government office or medical care. This includes giving electronic signatures, filing taxes, and voting. Estonians elect their parliament online, and get their taxes back in two days.

21. Questioning the Charter School Hype (For full story, click here)

Charter schools have been heralded as the antidote to “failed” public schools, especially in poor urban communities of African-American and Latino/a students. Politicians and celebrities alike now advocate charters schools. However, charter schools have come under fire for not fulfilling the roles or achieving the results that their proponents have claimed. Instead of providing positive teaching and preparing children for the future, recent news reports have indicated that charter schools are subjecting students to padded cells, public shaming and embarrassment, poor instruction, and the negative consequences of financial corruption.

22. Corporate News Media Understate Rape, Sexual Violence (For full story, click here)

Media analysts observe how journalists refrain from using the word “rape” to describe incidents of sexual assault. Instead, news outlets downplay the humiliation and cruelty entailed in these acts by referring to them as “sex crimes,” “inappropriate sexual activity,” or “forced sex,” even though such acts are legally recognized as “rape.”

23. Number of US Prison Inmates Serving Life Sentences Hits Record (For full story, click here)

The number of prisoners serving life sentences in the US state and federal prisons reached a new record of over 150,000 in 2012. Of these, 49,000 are serving life without possibility of parole, an increase of 22.2 percent since 2008. Keeping these prisoners locked up for life costs taxpayers around $1.8 billion annually.

24. Restorative Justice Turns Violent Schools Around (For full story, click here)

Last year when American Paradigm Schools took over Philadelphia’s infamous, failing John Paul Jones Middle School, rather than beef up the already heavy security to ensure safety and restore order, American Paradigm stripped it away. During renovations, they removed both metal detectors and barred windows. The police predicted chaos. But, instead, new numbers seem to show that in a single year the number of serious incidents fell by 90 percent.

25. US Military Balancing Budget on Backs of Disabled Veterans (For full story, click here)

The US military has been engaged in a policy of forcing wounded and disabled veterans out of service to avoid paying benefits and to make room for new able-bodied recruits. Identifying injured combat soldiers as delinquent and negligent has lead to a practice called “chaptering out” which results in those soldiers being forced to leave the military without an honorable discharge. Because of this, thousands of soldiers have been discharged without federal benefits including health care, unemployment, and educational programs.

Suppressed Truth in the US -
Here are the 25 Top Articles of 2013

It is almost a tradition for me to publish this annual list of the most censored subjects in the US press. To give you a heads up what is going on in the Media department, here another article from our friends at www.WantToKnow.info, who keep track of the Truth.

Top 25 Stories of 2013 Subjected to Press Censorship

1. Bradley Manning and the Failure of Corporate Media (For full story, click here)

Untold stories of Iraqi civilian deaths by American soldiers, US diplomats pushing aircraft sales on foreign royalty, uninvestigated abuse by Iraqi allies, the perils of the rise in private war contractors — this is what Manning exposed. They were stories that challenge the US political elite, and they were only made possible by a sacrifice. Manning got a 35-year prison sentence for the revelation of state secrets to WikiLeaks. The failure of our media was not in the lack of coverage of Manning, but in its focus. Though The New York Times partnered with WikiLeaks to release stories based on the documents, news from the leaks have now slowed to a trickle — a waste of over 700,000 pieces of classified intelligence giving unparalleled ground level views of America's costly wars. The media quickly took a scathing indictment of US military policy and spun it into a story about Manning's politics and patriotism. As Rolling Stone pointed out, Manning initially took the trove of leaks to The Washington Post and The New York Times, only to be turned away. Alexa O'Brien, a former Occupy activist, scooped most of the media by actually attending Manning's trial. She produced tens of thousands of words in transcriptions of the court hearings, one of the only reporters on the beat.

2. Richest Global 1 Percent Hide Billions in Tax Havens (For full story, click here)

Global corporate fatcats hold $21-32 trillion in offshore havens, money hidden from government taxation that would benefit people around the world, according to findings by James S. Henry, the former chief economist of the global management firm McKinsey & Company. The International Consortium of Investigative Journalists obtained a leak in April 2013, revealing how widespread the buy-in was to these tax havens. The findings were damning: government officials in Canada, Russia, and other countries have embraced offshore accounts, the world's top banks (including Deutsche Bank) have worked to maintain them, and the tax havens are used in Ponzi schemes. Moving money offshore has implications that ripped through the world economy. Part of Greece's economic collapse was due to these tax havens. US Senator Carl Levin, D-Michigan, introduced legislation to combat the practice, SB1533, The Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act, but so far the bill has had little play in the media. This hidden wealth is a huge black hole in the world economy that has never been measured, and which could generate income tax revenues between $190-280 billion a year.

3. Trans-Pacific Partnership Threatens a Regime of Corporate Global Governance (For full story, click here)

Take 600 corporate advisors, mix in officials from 11 international governments, let it bake for about two years, and out pops international partnerships that threaten to cripple progressive movements worldwide. The Trans-Pacific Partnership is a trade agreement, but leaked texts show it may allow foreign investors to use "investor-state" tribunals to extract extravagant extra damages for "expected future profits," according to the Public Citizen's Global Trade Watch. The trade watch group investigated the TPP and is the main advocate in opposition of its policies. The AFL-CIO, Sierra Club, and other organizations have also had growing concerns about the level of access granted to corporations in these agreements. With extra powers granted to foreign firms, the possibility that companies would continue moving offshore could grow. But even with the risks of outsized corporate influence, the US has a strong interest in the TPP in order to maintain trade agreements with Asia.

4. Obama's War on Whistleblowers (For full story, click here)

President Obama has invoked the Espionage Act of 1917 more than every other president combined. Seven times, Obama has pursued leakers with the act, against Thomas Drake, Shamai Leibowitz, Bradley Manning, Stephen Kim, Jeffrey Sterling, John Kiriakou and most recently, Edward Snowden. All had ties to the State Department, FBI, CIA, or NSA, and all of them leaked to journalists. Neither party is raising hell over this. This is the sort of story that sort of slips through the cracks. And when the politicians don't raise a fuss, neither does the media. Pro Publica covered the issue, constructing timelines and mapping out the various arrests and indictments. The lack of coverage is in Obama's hypocrisy — only a year before, he signed The Whistleblower Protection Act. "Certain provisions in the Act threaten to interfere with my constitutional duty to supervise the executive branch," Obama said. "I will interpret those sections consistent with my authority."

5. Hate Groups, Antigovernment Groups on Rise across US (For full story, click here)

Hate groups in the US are on the rise, according to a report by the Southern Poverty Law Center. There are 1,007 known hate groups operating across the country, it wrote, including neo-Nazis, Ku Klux Klan, white nationalists, neo-Confederates, racist skinheads, black separatists, border vigilantes, and others. Since 2000, those groups have grown by over half, and there was a "powerful resurgence" of Patriot groups, the likes of which were involved in the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995. Worst of all, the huge growth in armed militias seems to have conspicuous timing with Obama's election. "The number of Patriot groups, including armed militias, has grown 813 percent since Obama was elected — from 149 in 2008 to 1,360 in 2012," the SPLC reported.

6. Billionaires' Rising Wealth Intensifies Poverty, Inequality (For full story, click here)

The world's billionaires added $241 billion to their collective net worth in 2012. That's an economic recovery, right? That gain, coupled with the world's richest peoples' new total worth of $1.9 trillion (more than the GDP of Canada), wasn't reported by some kooky socialist group, but by Bloomberg News. But few journalists are asking the important question: Why? Journalist George Monbiot highlights a reduction of taxes and tax enforcement, the privatization of public assets, and the weakening of labor unions. "Recent empirical and analytical work reviewed here mostly shows a negative correlation between inequality and growth."

7. Merchants of Death and Nuclear Weapons (For full story, click here)

The threat of nuclear war is not strictly an example of censorship, but of a desire for media reform. A study from the The Physicians for Social Responsibility said 1 billion people could starve in the decade after a nuclear detonation. Corn production in the US would decline by an average of 10 percent for an entire decade and food prices would make food inaccessible to hundreds of millions of the world's poorest. This is not journalism in the classic sense. In traditional journalism, as it's played out since the early 20th century, news requires an element of something new in order to garner reporting — not a looming threat or danger. So in this case, what is identified is the need for a new kind of journalism – "solutions journalism." "Solutions journalism," Sarah van Gelder wrote in the foreword to Censored 2014, "must investigate not only the individual innovations, but also the larger pattern of change — the emerging ethics, institutions, and ways of life that are coming into existence."

8. Bank Interests Inflate Global Prices by 35 to 40 Percent (For full story, click here)

Does 35 percent of everything bought in the United States go to interest? Professor Margrit Kennedy of the University of Hanover thinks so, and she says it's a major funnel of money from the 99 percent to the rich. In her 2012 book, Occupy Money, Kennedy wrote that tradespeople, suppliers, wholesalers, and retailers along the chain of production rely on credit. Her figures were initially drawn from the German economy, but Ellen Brown of the Web of Debt and Global Research said she found similar patterns in the US. This "hidden interest" has sapped the growth of other industries, she said, lining the pockets of the financial sector. So if interest is stagnating so many industries, why would journalists avoid the topic? Few economists have echoed her views, and few experts emerged to back up her assertions. Without people in power pushing the topic, a mainstream journalist would be seen as going out on a limb to report on such important matters. If reporters raise an issue the elites are not raising themselves, then they're labelled ideological, or said to have an axe to grind. This makes mainstream journalism worthless on many important issues.

9. Icelanders Vote to Include Commons in Their Constitution (For full story, click here)

In 2012, Icelandic citizens voted in referendum to change the country's 1944 constitution. When asked, "In the new constitution, do you want natural resources that are not privately owned to be declared national property?" its citizens voted 81 percent in favor. The constitutional reforms are a direct response to the nation’s 2008 financial crash, when Iceland’s unregulated banks borrowed more than the country’s gross domestic product from international wholesale money markets. As Jessica Conrad of On the Commons reported, “It is clear that citizens are beginning to recognize the value of what they share together over the perceived wealth created by the market economy.”

10. A "Culture of Cruelty" along Mexico–US Border (For full story, click here)

The plight of Mexican border crossings usually involves three types of stories in US press: deaths in the stretch of desert beyond the border, the horrors of drug cartels, and heroic journeys of border crossings by sympathetic workers. But a report released a year ago by the organization No More Deaths asserts that people arrested by Border Patrol while crossing were denied water and told to let their sick die. No More Deaths conducted more than 12,000 interviews to form the basis of its study in three Mexican cities: Nacos, Nogales and Agua Prieta. The report cites grossly ineffective oversight from the Department of Homeland Security. This has received some coverage, from Salon showcasing video of Border Patrol agents destroying jugs of water meant for crossers to a New York Times piece citing a lack of oversight for Border Patrol's excessive force. The ACLU lobbied the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights to call international attention to the plight of these border crossers at the hands of US law enforcement.

11. Bush Blocked Iran Nuclear Deal (For full story, click here)

According to a former top Iranian negotiator, Seyed Hossein Mousavian, in 2005 Iran offered a deal to the United States, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom that would have made it impossible for Iran to build nuclear weapons. The continuation of these negotiations could have headed off the current political crisis over the Iranian nuclear program, if not eliminated the threat of war and the strain of strict economic sanctions.

18. Fracking Our Food Supply (For full story, click here)

The effects of hydraulic fracturing (or “fracking”) on food supply and the environment are slowly emerging. The fracking process runs contrary to safe sustainable food production. Chemicals used in the fracking process contaminate surrounding land, water, and air. Ranchers in Pennsylvania, North Dakota, Louisiana, and New Mexico have been reporting health problems and incidents of dead and tainted livestock, due to elevated levels of contaminants from nearby wells.

Healthcare is a Right to Survive
and it saves tax dollars

We are constantly hearing from the rightwing media jungle that healthcare is socialism, communism, that President Obama is a "socialist muslim"... it is amazing that these accusations come from so called christian groups. President Obama is a moderate conversative who is trying to save taxpayer dollars in order to lower government spending. The right wingnuts - and we have the best congress money can buy - are under the control of the giant  healthcare  insurance Corporations who are not willing to give up the control over a failing system. Our healthcare system is by far not one of the best in the world. It just gives the most money to insurers and shareholders. Jesus' intention was to help the poor, to help the people. He did not have much love for the ones who exploit their neighbors to make higher profits. Jesus would advocate single payer insurance, since this would save the most tax dollars and it would give the commercial insurers a nonprofit entity to compete with when it comes to rates. Many Insurers take about 30% off the top and whatever is left might be used on the healthcare of their insured.  Since they have just received 40 Million new customers, there should be joy and happiness prevailing in their ranks. And still, even though the government is paying for many of these uninsured, the country is saving money. Amazing to know that single payer healthcare would still save the most amount of money, help more people and would actually agree the most with Jesus Christ's message to help the poor. Why are we not doing the right thing then?  The next goal for the US should be single payer healthcare.

Telling the Truth is being punished,
Liars prevail

The "scandal" around Edward Snowden has an amazing effect on many people. Since the mainstream media is only reporting about the George Zimmerman trial - a white man who followed a black teenager and shot him - only a few channels like RT - Russian Television and Al Jazeera are reporting about the US spying on the whole world. And also about forcing the airplane of the Bolivian President to land in Austria, searching it for Snowden and upsetting South America with this insult. Our Government - that has been spying on the whole world AND on us - is trying to punish the person that told us, the people who are this country USA, that our elected officials are acting like the East German STASI, the NAZI Gestapo, or other dictatorial regimes did. We should thank Snowden that he has confirmed what some of us have suspected for a long time, and we should punish the liars and protect the ones who help us to see the truth.

HUBRIS - Documentary finally tells
some of the truth about Cheney's war

The documentary Hubris, presented on MSNBC by one of my favorite journalists (there are unfortunately not many here in our US of A) Rachel Maddow tells the American public some of the truth that is already common knowledge in most parts of the world.  No, there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. And UN Weapons Inspector Hans Blix told this to the world on time and begged the Bush administration not to go to war with Iraq because he knew better. But the motivation for the Cheney administration to wage a war was different. There was oil - which was enticing for the Oil-administration under Bush, among them Chevron Board member Condoleezza Rice who had the honor of having her name on one of the Chevron Oil Tankers which was for obvious reasons later renamed in Altair Voyager. There was also the opportunity for Cheney's company Halliburton (he was CEO before he became Bush's boss) to make Billions of Dollars. The weapons manufacturers were also very happy, since Bombs have to be replaced faster when the nation is waging a war. Even if it is a war that is only for the benefit of Big Oil, Halliburton and the weapons industry. By now 4,500 Americans and 115,000 Iraqis lost their lives in this war that was waged for Cheney's pleasure. A fact that is also highlighted in a documentary about Cheney that is currently airing on Showtime TV.  He is probably the only Vice president of the US who ever sold out one of our own spies to the enemy. An offense that is usually followed by an execution in most countries. In addition to this war crime against his own country, he is wanted as a war criminal by other countries. A man who - in spite of all knowledge and evidence to the contrary - wanted torture as a means to gather information.  I can only describe this as pure evil.  I am surprised that he is still a free man.  All the information that is coming out now was obvious and "out there".  It has just been disregarded by the Main stream media, because here in the US 95% of the so called journalism is entertainment, not actual journalism.

9-11 is another subject that has all the facts out there. And the facts do NOT match any of the official explanations given by our changing governments.  There is no doubt in my mind that 9-11 was an inside job. Too much evidence points to this fact.  Besides the fact that Osama Bin Laden denied his involvement in 9-11 in the first several month until the Bush family convinced him to officially take the blame (he was never wanted by the FBI for 9-11!), and that the Lone Gunman pilot showed the White House how to pull this off on March 4, 2001, and the fact that the WTC could not have collapsed in this "demolishing professional" fashion -  If you can send our home defense to the other side of the country for a NORAD exercise on September 11, 2001, then you are definitely involved in the events in some capacity.

And it is easy - just follow the money. Who won? The administration got their war they were trying to start for quite a while for reasons stated above, enough Americans were killed to get congress to act irrationally, all the facts were wrong about it, but the 1% pulled it off. And we, the 99% of Americans are still paying for it.

Pope acts responsibly -

Catholic Church should update policies!

Pope Benedict, the former German Cardinal Ratzinger, is breaking new ground for the Catholic Church.  Being the first Pope to step aside for his successor instead of waiting for death on the job in more than 700 years has earned him my respect once again. The previous time was when he “officially” recognized evolution as factual.  On the seriously bad side of issues is his previous work in the Vatican on the cases of pedophilia which protected clerical predators for far too long and did not deal with the proper punishment.

Since being celibate not only invites predatory behavior, but is also NOT an issue of faith, but is rooted in the fact that the Catholic Church did not want priest’s inheritance to be passed down to their children and so decided that the money and all belongings have to stay in the church. The Bible was searched for passages that would support this and with this excuse the celibate lifestyle was instituted.  Since celibacy is not really a faith based issue, there seems to be room for improvement. The clergy of previous centuries, including popes, lived a quite sexually infused lifestyle, so that the claimed issue of "not being distracted from GOD" does not really apply. The Catholic Church should be rich enough by now to be able to ordain Priests who are allowed to get married (instead of just living with their housekeepers) and instead of hiding their children in monasteries in Italy, those kids could be elevated from “bastards who were born out of wedlock” to church approved children who can grow up in a loving family.  The irony of it all is that these children are currently being denied priesthood by the same church that put them in this position in the first place.

Another topic that is currently on the radar is the immigration policy of the US.  The right wing is torpedoing as good as they can any effort to help keep families together, to help people out of the shadows, and to openly contribute to our country.  This is not a message that Jesus would approve of, so if you really feel that strongly about it, do not advertise yourself as being a Christian. You are definitely not a follower, you are not even a fan of Jesus.  It is sad and despicable that right wing politicians use "the Church" as a tool to get elected, since they do not subscribe to any of Jesus' messages. Jesus message was the message of love, not of hate. So please stop pretending otherwise.  Love your neighbor as you love yourself.  Jesus was by our standards a socialist and pacifist.  Here are my favorite commandments and bible quotes that deal with these issues. And please be aware that every human being is your neighbor:

1.    Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.

  2.   Love your neighbor as yourself.

  3.   Honor your father and your mother.

  4.    You shall not kill.

  5.    You shall not commit adultery.

  6.    You shall not steal.

  7.    You shall not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

  8.    You shall not covet anything that is thy neighbor's.

  9.   Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Jesus said:
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'  (Matthew 22:36-40)

You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. (Matthew 5:43)

[Romans 13:8-11] Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.

US Elections a sham again?

In the year 2000 the world was more than surprised to see that only a few Americans were outraged about the election fraud when the Governor of Florida, Jeb Bush, had his brother appointed president by his dependents instead of counting the votes which would have made Al Gore President of the United States. The emails from Europe that I received stated among other things that we "now live in a third world country".  That should suffice as of how our nation is viewed by the rest of the world. The same is the case with our version of the events of September 11, 2001. The US is the only country where the US Government statements are not being taken as a bad joke.  Too much evidence exists - from the Pilot episode of "The lone Gunmen" which gave our Government at the time the blueprint of what to do, which they refined and added some aspects to Bin Laden who initially declined the honor of having the event planned and executed.  Only after the US Government had an actor in Bin Laden costume confess to having planned and carried out the 9/11 attack and the Bushes spoke with their best friends, the Bin Ladens, Osama finally "confessed".  But back to the next shaky plans of the Republican operatives, who have found a new way to fix the elections. Romney Family Investment Ties To Voting Machine Company That Could Decide The Election Causing Concern
October 20, 2012, Forbes
http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2012/10/20/romney-family-investment-ties-to-voting-machine...

The [electronic voting] machines used in Hamilton County, Ohio — the county home of Cincinnati — are supplied by Hart Intercivic, a national provider of voting systems in use in a wide variety of counties scattered throughout the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Colorado and Ohio. A test conducted in 2007 by the Ohio Secretary of State revealed that five of the electronic voting systems the state was looking to use in the upcoming 2008 presidential election had failed badly, each easily susceptible to chicanery that could alter the results of an election. As reported in the New York Times, “At polling stations, teams working on the study were able to pick locks to access memory cards and use hand-held devices to plug false vote counts into machines. At boards of election, they were able to introduce malignant software into servers.” It turns out that Hart Intercivic is owned, in large part, by H.I.G. Capital — a large investment fund with billions of dollars under management — that was founded by a fellow named Tony Tamer. H.I.G. employees hold at least two of the five Hart Intercivic board seats. Tony Tamer, H.I.G.’s founder, turns out to be a major bundler for the Mitt Romney campaign, along with three other directors of H.I.G. who are also big-time money raisers for Romney. Two of those directors — Douglas Berman and Brian Schwartz — were actually in attendance at the now infamous “47 percent” fundraiser in Boca Raton, Florida. Two members of the Hart Intercivic board of directors, Neil Tuch and Jeff Bohl, have made direct contributions to the Romney campaign.

Could e-voting machines in Election 2012 be hacked? Yes.
October 26, 2012, Christian Science Monitor
http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Elections/2012/1026/Could-e-voting-machines-in-Election-2012...

Rapid advances in the development of cyberweapons and malicious software mean that electronic-voting machines used in the 2012 election could be hacked, potentially tipping the presidential election or a number of other races. [A University of Pennsylvania] study concluded "virtually every important software security mechanism is vulnerable." Most at risk are paperless e-voting machines, which don’t print out any record of votes. Four swing states – Pennsylvania, Virginia, Colorado, and Florida – rely to varying degrees on paperless machines. Alex Halderman, a researcher at the University of Michigan, and a colleague at Princeton University hacked into a paperless touch-screen voting machine in 2010 and installed the video game Pac-Man. Similarly, he and Princeton researchers in 2006 demonstrated that if someone could get a few minutes’ unattended access to a paperless machine, that person could install a software virus that could spread to other machines and switch those machines’ votes before deleting all traces of itself. Among the 23 states that use touch-screen Direct-Recording Electronic (DREs) machines ... only California, Indiana, and Ohio were rated excellent in a national report this summer by Verified Voting. For a savvy hacker, the time and access needed to infect a machine is so small that it could be done while in a voting booth. A hacker could in theory use the Internet to target an e-voting machine company, which would then unknowingly infect its own machines when it serviced them. It's impossible to know if newer machines and software are really secure because their source code is largely unavailable for analysis. Voting-equipment makers frequently say their software is a trade secret.

Islam is a peaceful Religion!

Christianity is a "non-violent" Religion per definition of the New Testament. And look how many cultures were violently extinguished in the name of "Jesus Christ", who actually told his followers to "turn the other cheek". The commandments require "to love your neighbor like yourself", not to kill, not to steal and not to lie. That is the essential message of the Bible.

And who is following these rules? Politicians and Religious leaders use Quotes from Scriptures, taken out of context, and by painting a terrible picture of the "common enemy" to stir violence, hate and fear. Ignorance and fear are the root of violence and hate in the first place. Add the holy war as a reason for the ignorant, and greed as the motive for the "ruling class".  From the crusades, the destruction of the Inca Empire, the destruction of the Native American tribes here in the US (the numbers of killed Natives vary between 150 and 250 Million), to Germany's Hitler, who pointed at the Jews as the common enemy and killed Millions of them, to the current Islamophobia, the goals and means are strikingly similar. Stirring the fear of "the other", inventing a constant threat of so called "Terrorism", our politicians are working up their way to another war, to fill the chests of the "top one percent", and to kill the "common enemy" in the name of God and country.  And the same is happening "on the other side".  In the Islamic countries the crowds are stirred up by their religious leaders, and with this they play in the hands of the western powers, or are probably even lead by them to act this way.  The CIA has started more wars "behind the scenes" than most people can imagine.  The Bin Laden family were the Bush family's only friends. Bush was holding hands with the Saudi Prince and Saddam was instated under Bush senior, while Prescott Bush - in his time - financed Hitler.  It is an interesting world where the media is used to hide the facts and feed the lies to us.  We are talking Billions and Trillions of Dollars going to the usual suspects who outfit our wars, like Cheney's Halliburton and the producers of military devices.  For that kind of money, the top one percent is willing to do whatever it takes to start a new war.  Let's see... IRAN will be next on the list. It is not about Religion, it is about big money.  The Religion is easily explained: Islam is basically a non-violent religion that has been hijacked by extremists with an agenda. Just like Christianity.

Mormons are traditional Christians - Really?

I like Mormons. Mormons are usually really nice and friendly people. I like the Missionaries, because they dedicate a part of their lives to what they believe in and are on a mission that is not easy. Now I hear that Catholics support the Mormon Mitt Romney to become President of the United States with the statement that Mormonism is actually close to Catholicism and asked if the Mormon Faith was "Christian" they actually agree. Some Jewish Groups also believe that the Mormons are on the side of Israel.  Maybe we should have a look at the Mormon faith instead of following pure political ignorance. And this brief overview is not to discredit Mormons, but only to clarify some misconceptions that are out there.

Mormons believe in Jesus as a blond and blue eyed American, since he lived and performed his miracles in the US. They don't believe in Israel though, since they believe that everything that is in the Bible actually happened in the US, not anywhere near the Mediterranean area. And they have a very different view of Jesus as well.

Who are the Mormons? Are the Mormons the "real" Mormons who preached Polygamy since their founding by Joseph Smith in 1830, when he officially claimed that he found golden Plates and published the "Book of Mormon"? Are the real Mormons the ones who think that darker or black skinned people are black because their God punished them, marked and burned them for being bad? The modern Mormons "officially" changed that belief in the 1970's. Or are those the ones who believe that everything written in the Bible actually happened in "The Americas" and not in Israel. They believe that Jesus was white (Personally I refer to their depictions of Jesus as "the blonde guy") and that he was not necessarily the only savior. And the Mormon faith does not only operate on our own Planet. According to Mormon belief there are many worlds, and definitely more than one earth.

One important fact everyone should know is that the Mormons do not just change their interpretations. They change their whole belief system according to the times, laws and necessities of the moment. And they can do it legitimately, because every leader of the Mormon Church, called a prophet, is empowered to  change the current beliefs of the Mormon Church.

More information about the Mormon faith can be found here:
http://chocr.com/Religions/mormons.htm

But wait, there is more... Mormon Leaders also claimed that Jesus Christ is only one of many Saviors: According to Joseph Fielding Smith: "We are not the only people that the Lord has created. We have brothers and sisters on other earths. They look like us because they, too, are the children of God and were created in his image, for they are also his offspring" (
Doctrines of Salvation 1:62). Brigham Young taught: "Sin is upon every earth that ever was created ... Consequently every earth has its redeemer, and every earth has its tempter" (Journal of Discourses, vol. 14, p.71).

You will find more info about the differences between how Jesus is viewed by Mormons and the Christian churches here:
http://www.leaderu.com/offices/michaeldavis/docs/mormonism/jesus-refs.html

In closing let me say, that I agree with several teachings of the Mormon faith that do not correspond with teachings of churches of the traditional faith. I know many Mormons, I respect them, I like them and I enjoy speaking with them. I welcome Missionaries in my house and I highly admire their commitment to their faith. But their belief is not close to the Christianity that we came to know in our traditional churches.

If you claim to follow Jesus, know his Word!

GOD is still not gaining any traction with the right wing Christian fascists. While they still claim Jesus as their savior, their actions are without any doubt anti-Christian.  Let's take a look at this statement: Jesus was on the side of the poor and wanted to help them in any situation, with all the power he had. The right wingers, even though they are mostly poor, despise the poor and support the rich. Even thought they have hardly any teeth, they oppose free governmental support to fix their dental mess. Let them eat soup.

At the same time they oppose the right to choose, to decide, to speak or to live for women, even though Jesus did help men and women alike, and betrothed the leadership of his church to Maria Magdalene and not to Peter.  Peter just ran with it. And he founded a church in the tradition of the Jewish faith.  Jesus never wanted a church that included anyone but the Jewish people. And he never sent the Apostles out to found this church. He told Paul who was as well Jewish, but also a Roman citizen, to found the church for the Gentiles.

And amazingly almost all Churches are straying from Jesus path. All we have to do is follow the commandments and Jesus' word as it is stated in the Gospel of Thomas (which you will find on our church's website) and copied from there into parts of the New Testament.

Oh, and to all you racists out there: Jesus was definitely not white. He was brown and Jewish. And he loved you as well. Just work a little bit on your view of the world. And if you pray to Jesus, at least know what he actually said and wanted. Don't trust your redneck, illiterate Pastor. Read the Bible.

Amen

Suppressed Truth in the US -
Here are the 25 Top Articles of 2011

If you read my commentaries regularly, you know that I am steadily criticizing the suppression of the truth or the telling of lies. To give you a heads up what is going on in the Media department, here another article from our friends at www.WantToKnow.info, who keep track of the Truth.

Top 25 Stories of 2011 Subjected to Press Censorship

1. More US Soldiers Committed Suicide Than Died in Combat (For full story, click here)
For the second year (2010) in a row, more US soldiers killed themselves (468) than died in combat (462). In 2009, the 381 suicides of active-duty soldiers recorded by the military also exceeded the number of deaths in battle. The Good report, which references the Congressional Quarterly as a source, was published in January 2011, just weeks after military authorities announced that a psychological screening program seemed to be stemming the suicide rate among active-duty soldiers. “This new data, that American soldiers are now more dangerous to themselves than the insurgents, flies right in the face of any suggestion that things are ‘working,’” Good Senior Editor Cord Jefferson wrote.

2. US Military Manipulates the Social Media (For full story, click here)
The US military is developing software that will let it secretly manipulate social media sites by using fake online personas to influence internet conversations and spread pro-American propaganda. Anyone suspicious of “sock puppets” ... would be unnerved by the US military’s “online persona management service,” a little-known program described in The Guardian UK, Raw Story, and Computerworld stories. The U.S. Central Command (Centcom) is developing the program. Using up to 10 false identities, they can counter charged political dialogue with pro-military propaganda. These "personas" can be given detailed, fictionalized backgrounds to make them believable to outside observers, and a sophisticated identity protection service to back them up, preventing suspicious readers from uncovering the real person behind the account.

3. Obama Authorizes International Assassination Campaign (For full story, click here)
The Obama administration has quietly put into practice an ‘incomplete idea’ left over from the G.W. Bush presidency: creating a de facto ‘presidential international assassination program.’ U.S. citizens suspected of encouraging “terror” are being put on “death lists” without any due process of law. The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the U.S. military have the authority to kill U.S. citizens abroad without a trial and outside war zones if strong evidence exists that they’re involved in terrorist activity, the Washington Post reported in a front page story. A moral, ethical, and legal analysis of the assassinations seems to be significantly lacking inside the corporate media. In December of 2010, Human Rights Watch asked for clarification of the legal rationale behind this practice after a judge dismissed a lawsuit challenging the notion.

4. Human Caused Food Crisis Expands (For full story, click here)
A new worldwide spike in agricultural commodity and food prices is generating both predictable and extraordinary fallouts. The search for causes once again leads to a conjuncture of flawed policies in trade, environment, finance and agriculture that is likely to produce more dangerous volatility in years to come. David Moberg, offering an in-depth breakdown of the global food crisis in In These Times, places the blame for rising food prices and increasing malnutrition on flawed economic policies. “Hunger is currently a result of poverty and inequality, not lack of food,” he concludes. “Since 2010 began, roughly another 44 million people have quietly crossed the threshold into malnutrition, joining 925 million already suffering from lack of food,” Moberg writes. “If prices continue to rise, this food crisis will push the ranks of the hungry toward a billion people.”

5. Private Prison Companies Fund Anti–Immigrant Legislation (For full story, click here)
Over the past four years roughly a million immigrants have been incarcerated in dangerous detention facilities in our taxpayer-financed private prison system. Children were abused, women were raped, and men died from lack of basic medical attention. When Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer ran for reelection in 2010, her greatest out-of-state campaign contributions came from high-ranking executives of Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), one of the nation’s largest prison companies. CCA profits directly from building and operating prisons and detention centers. CCA previously employed two of Brewer’s legislative aides as lobbyists. Peter Cervantes-Gautschi spotlights Brewer’s links to CCA and goes deeper still, offering an historic account of how investors in CCA and prison giant Geo Group have for years actively pushed for legislation that would result in the widespread incarceration of undocumented immigrants.

6. Google Spying? (For full story, click here)
Earlier this year the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigated Internet search engine giant Google for illegally collecting personal data such as passwords, emails, and other online activities from unsecured Wi-Fi networks in homes and businesses across the US and around the world. A flurry of stories aired in the spring of 2010 when it became apparent that Google Street View vehicles, in the process of collecting data for its mapping service, also picked up consumer “payload” data on Wi-Fi networks, including e-mail messages, website data, user names, and passwords. The tech giant publicly apologized for what it characterized as a mistake, saying it had “failed badly.” The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) admonished Google in a letter, but declined to pursue it further. Project Censored authors claim that the FTC abandoned its inquiry because a week earlier, Obama attended a Democratic Party fundraiser at the Palo Alto home of Google executive Marissa Mayer, citing a San Francisco Chronicle article about the $30,000-per person affair.

7. U.S. Army and Psychology’s Largest Experiment–Ever (For full story, click here)
In the January 2011 issue of American Psychologist, the American Psychology Association (APA) dedicated 13 articles to detailing and celebrating a 117 million dollar collaboration with the US Army, called Comprehensive Soldier Fitness (CSF). It’s being marketed as a resilience training to reduce adverse psychological consequences to soldiers who endure combat. Comprehensive Solider Fitness (CSF) is described as a “holistic approach to warrior training,” emphasizing positive psychology as a means to counter mental health problems arising from horrific combat situations. Yet there are many questions about the wisdom of launching a required, untested psychology program for more than a million soldiers, one that encourages soldiers to think positive even in the face of traumatizing events. This “training” program might better be described as a research project. The core hypothesis of this massive program’s success has yet to be confirmed through further research.

8. The Myth of Clean and Safe Nuclear Power (For full story, click here)
The terrifying meltdowns of Japan’s Fukushima nuclear reactors reignited worldwide debate about the wisdom of relying on nuclear energy as an electricity source. While Germany opted to phase out its nuclear facilities by 2022 in the wake of the tragedy, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) came under scrutiny after a Union of Concerned Scientists report analyzed 14 “near misses” at nuclear power plants in 2010, revealing the shortcomings in NRC inspections. Yet mainstream media’s treatment of nuclear power is all too willing to endorse the idea that nuclear power is safe. Major news publications readily go along with the nuclear industry’s branding of the power source as “clean” and “carbon free” when it’s really not. Nuclear power presents a security threat of unprecedented proportions: It’s capable of a catastrophic accident that can kill hundreds of thousands of people, with a byproduct that is toxic for millennia. To call nuclear power “clean” is an affront to science, common sense, and the English language itself.

9. The Government is Manipulating the Weather (For full story, click here)
Rising global temperatures, increasing population, and degradation of water supplies, have created broad support for the growing field of weather modification. The U.S. government has conducted weather modification experiments for over half a century, and the military-industrial complex stands poised to capitalize on these discoveries. One of the latest programs is HAARP, the High-Frequency Active Aural Research Program. This technology can potentially trigger floods, droughts, hurricanes and earthquakes. The scientific idea behind HAARP is to “excite” a specific area of the ionosphere and observe the physical processes in that excited area with intention of modifying ecological conditions. HAARP can also be used as a weapon system, capable of selectively destabilizing agricultural and ecological systems of entire regions. At a recent international symposium, scientists asserted that manipulation of climate through modification of cirrus clouds is neither a hoax nor a conspiracy theory and is fully operational.

10. Real Unemployment: One Out of Five in US (For full story, click here)
The corporate media wants America to feel secure during a time of unemployment crisis, but people deserve to know what is really happening rather than a statistical lie. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) calculates the “official unemployment rate” by counting everyone who had no job, was available for work, and had actively sought work in the last four weeks, according to the BLS website. But alternative BLS statistics incorporate so-called “discouraged workers,” unemployed individuals who’ve given up on the job hunt. In the first four months of 2011, the national unemployment rate officially stood at around 9 percent, while a BLS statistic incorporating discouraged workers and the marginally employed bumped that figure up to 15.9 percent. Yet according to San Francisco-based economist John Williams, who maintains a website called Shadow Government Statistics, the “real” unemployment rate is actually 22.1 percent, or more than one out of five US residents.

More of the Top 25 Press Censorship Stories of 2011

11. Trafficking of Iraqi Women Rampant (For full story, click here)
Human trafficking occurs throughout the world, yet has become increasingly more prevalent in Iraq due to the instability produced by the war. Many Iraqi women and girls are widowed or orphaned by wartime casualties. Currently, more than 50,000 Iraqi women have fled to Jordan and Syria and are trapped in sexual servitude with no possibility of escape.

12. Pacific Garbage Dump: Did You Think Your Plastic Was Being Recycled? (Story here)
Many people do not realize that there is a swirling mass of plastic in the middle of the Pacific ocean that qualifies as the planet’s largest garbage dump. Recent research sponsored by the National Science Foundation suggests the affected area may be twice the size of Hawaii. The 5 Gyres Project estimates that there are 315 billion pounds of plastic in the ocean right now.

13. Will a State of Emergency Be Used to Supersede Our Constitution? (Story here)
A program dating back to the Eisenhower era is now converted to bestow secret powers on the president for anything he considers an emergency. Recent “Continuity of Government” planning has quietly removed time-honored constitutional protections and increased the militarization of civilian law enforcement. For the first time in US history, military troops are allowed to do police actions in US cities. Recently the US Army established an active-duty brigade trained to manage civil unrest and crowd control. Historically this has been illegal. There has been a loss of local authority and sustained preparations for the possibility of martial law.

14. Family Pressure on Young Girls for Genitalia Mutilation in Kenya (For full story, click here)
Girls as young as nine years old were threatened with death if they tried to escape the Kamunera location, where they awaited female genitalia mutilation in Kenya. Some are still in hiding, fearing that their parents will disown them for running away to avoid circumcision. Many girls have been forced to cut short their studies and married off at a young age because of parental fear the daughters will be ostracized if too educated.

15. Big Polluters Freed from Environmental Oversight (For full story, click here)
The Obama administration has distributed billions of dollars in stimulus money to some of the nation’s biggest polluters and granted exemptions from basic environmental errors. The administration’s main goal in Energy Secretary Steven Chu words was to “get the money out and spent as quickly as possible”.

16. Sweatshops in China Are Making Your iPods While Workers Suffer (Story here)
Apple’s suppliers routinely violate China’s “Law on the Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases.” Several manufacturers replaced alcohol with n-hexane, which is used to clean parts. It is a chemical that works better than alcohol, but poisons workers. In these factories the workers, often women in their teens or 20s, were forced to work with the poison in unventilated rooms.

17. Superbug Bacteria Spreading Worldwide (For full story, click here)
Lethal superbugs are emerging that do not respond to any known drugs. The World Health Organization states that the New Delhi or NDM-1 superbug was recently found in UK patients and has reached a critical point. These super bugs are resistant to carbapenem antibiotics, which is a major concern to experts because they are used for hard to treat infections that evade other drugs. Already 25,000 people die each year from superbugs in Europe.

18. Monsanto Tries to Benefit from Haiti’s Earthquake (For full story, click here)
In May 2010, five months after an earthquake destroyed Haiti, the American multinational Monsanto donated the country 60 tons of corn and vegetable hybrid seed. USAID took charge of the seed distribution. A month later, on June 4, 2010, around 10,000 Haitian farmers demonstrated against Monsanto’s donation. Haitian farmers denounced Monsanto’s seeds as they can’t be reused each year, which leads to the necessity of buying new seed from the multinational every new sowing season. This dependence could also extend to the fertilizers and herbicides required by the american multinational who also produces them.

19. Oxfam Exposes How Aid Is Used for Political Purposes (For full story, click here)
In a new report, Oxfam has found that billions of dollars in international aid which could have transformed the lives of many people in some of the poorest countries in the world, was spent on unsustainable, expensive and dangerous aid projects which international donor governments used to support their own short-term foreign policy and security objectives. This type of aid often bypasses the poorest people and dangerously distorts the line between civilian and military activity. The politicization and militarization of aid has in some places made it much harder for aid agencies to provide help to those in need.

20. US Agencies Trying to Outlaw GMO Food Labelling (For full story, click here)
There is increasing concern over the health impact of growing and eating genetically modified organisms (GMOs). The World Health Organization has identified allergenicity, antibiotic resistance, gene transfer, outcrossing, escape of GM genes into the wild population, gene stability, susceptibility of non-target organisms (insects), and loss of biodiversity as potential issues of using GM seeds. Multiple, reliable sources show that you may be eating genetically modified food daily which scientific experiments have repeatedly demonstrated can cause sickness and even death in lab animals. (More here)

21. Lyme Disease: An Emerging Epidemic (For full story, click here)
Lyme disease is one of the most political and controversial epidemics of our time. Lyme originates from a bacteria transmitted through the bite of a tick which can remain hidden for years, with symptoms mimicking other diseases such as Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, and ADHD. And it is growing – new cases of Lyme occur each year at a rate ten times higher then that of AIDS and the West Nile Virus combined. Yet doctors risk losing their license if they treat Lyme as the chronic disease it is known to be. (Powerful documentary here)

22. Participatory Budgeting: A Method to Empower Local Citizens, Communities (Story here)
“Participatory Budgeting” (PB) is a process that allows citizens to decide directly how to allocate all or part of a public budget. The process typically involves a series of meetings, work by community “delegates” or representatives, and ultimately a final vote. It was first implemented in the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil, in 1990, and has since spread.

23. Worldwide Movement To Ban or Charge Fees For Plastic Bags (For full story, click here)
Shoppers worldwide are using 500 billion to one trillion single-use plastic bags per year. These bags pollute our waters, smother wetlands and entangle and kill animals. As larger animals eat smaller plastic-laden creatures, this also affects our health as we end up eating some form of plastic in our sea food. Now 35 countries have already banned the use of plastic bags, nine countries have passed levies and fees on use, and 12 countries are considering bans or fees.

24. South Dakota Takes Extreme Measures to Be the Top Anti-Abortion State (Story here)
South Dakota is taking extreme action against any person who performs an abortion within the states borders. The South Dakota House is taking up a bill to redefine “justifiable homicide” that may “make it legal to kill doctors who perform abortions,” Mother Jones reports.

25. Extension of DU to Libya (For full story, click here)
President Obama’s undeclared and Congressionally unauthorized war against Libya may have been compounded by the crime of spreading toxic uranium oxide in populated areas of that country. Concern has been voiced by groups such as the International Coalition to Ban Uranium Weapons, which monitor the military use of so-called depleted-uranium (DU) anti-tank and bunker-penetrating shells.

We Are the 99 Percent

GOD is 100 percent on the side of the 99 percent who are occupying Wall Street and other financial abusive places in our United States. Abusive to the good Americans, the patriots, the veterans who are being beaten, battered and severely injured by just being part of a – so far – peaceful revolution of, or at least for, 99 percent of Americans.  Personally I am surprised how long it took Americans to see that they are being used, abused and enslaved by a filthy rich minority who holds the power, directs the violent forces to enforce their will and interest against everyone in our country whose blood paid to build this wealth.

It seems like people are catching on to what is going happening, to what the whole world has seen and understood during the past decade. There is nothing that the one percent would not do to keep their wealth and power.  9-11 – do you still believe the official fairytale that the government has constructed? Do you still believe that the people who are having veterans beaten up without any reason, who have killed over and over, who are dancing on your wounded bodies have your best interest in mind?

And this is not about parties or politicians, who have been bought a long time ago already to deliver your souls to the richest and most unscrupulous in our country, it is about the Trillions that outweigh your personal tragedy by far in their eyes.  The people who tossed you – our whole country – in the worst economic crisis, who laugh while evicting you from the house you have worked your whole life for. Those are the people who claim Jesus for their goals. They do not believe, but they know that you believe and that your – by mountains of false information unfortunately mostly misguided – love for GOD and HIS will keeps you obeying their commands, that they deliver through their also readily bought clergy in the right wing fascist churches all over our country.

If anyone tells your anything else than “GOD is Love”, “You shall NOT kill” and “Love your neighbor like yourself” and includes EVERYONE in the neighborhood they are talking about – including all religions and all skin colors – run as fast as you can.  This person belongs to the financed brigades that are supposed to keep you quiet and in hate of Muslims, people of other color, people of other cultures. And they do a good job at keeping you busy not thinking about what is really going on.

Jesus and his message have always been on the side of the poor, abused and enslaved.  And we are at a point in our country, where one percent abuses 99 percent. GOD and Jesus are with us and with the people who are fighting for GOD's real message. A special thanks to the protesters all over our country who are fighting for our rights. GOD bless you!

And meanwhile the one percent held our healthcare hostage, boycotted any job plans and improvements our government might have made on our behalf. Including restoring civil rights to the US which have been taken away by the so called patriot act under the Cheney dictatorship.  For any parallels in history, please feel free to browse this site and you will find ample information about the blueprints that led to similar situations in other countries as they appear in ours since 2001.

Familiar are also the ways in which the peaceful protests are met by the ones in power.  Police is beating up peaceful protesters and undercover personnel is trying to stir violence among the peaceful, or committing crimes and violence themselves in the name and under the banner of the peaceful.  Videos and Pictures on TV remind me of the early stages of the fall of the Berlin Wall in Germany and the subsequent fall of the USSR, Eastern Europe, of student protests in China and of the Vietnam protests.

A very good and close friend of mine told me about his struggle during the civil rights movement in the 60’s, when African-Americans were treated worse than the protesters now. He said: “Martin Luther King marched peacefully, turned the other cheek and did everything peaceful.  But don’t forget: The establishment began to move when we started burning their houses down.”

Let’s hope that it will not come this far. GOD loves HIS people. And no, HE does not love the rich because they are rich, HE loves them in spite of it and only if they respect and love their neighbors. Us, the 99 Percent.

Amen

Stealing from the poorest
and starving your family!

It is amazing to me that America can sit still while these “deficit reduction” talks are going on.  What about all these Christian bible thumpers who claim Jesus as their savior?  Jesus Christ, who was the champion of the poorest of the poor and despised the rich, would have taken you on already.  But you are barely fans, not followers, as comedian Bill Maher put it so wisely.  If you do the opposite of what Jesus Christ wants you to do and did himself, you are definitely not a follower. You just collect money and spread lies in His name.

Now the Republicans and too many Democrats are sold on stopping to feed their sick mothers and starving children, and instead order the fifth Rolls Royce and the newest Bentley.  They watch the poor and the medium wealthy lose their houses and everything that they have worked for all their lives.  And now they take the social security away – a program in which the recipients have PAID FOR all their working lives, and to cut Medicare, another program that the recipients have PAID for all their working lives.  This is not cutting spending.  This is stealing from 98 percent of the Americans to further the insane amount of wealth of two percent of America.  And that is exactly what this ideological reform is about.  America is starving and instead of feeding America and creating jobs for America, the richest two percent of Americans are ordering their new cars while watching the poorest of the poor fading away in agony.

One more word to the Republicans that are bringing down our country: Jesus was NOT blond and blue eyed. Jesus was a Mediterranean Jew.  So how can all you so called Christians hate the President for the color of his skin?  His skin color is closer to the one of Jesus than yours.  Racism is only in the Bible as long as you are not Jewish.  So, all you non-Jews please be aware that you are not part of the blessings of the Bible except for Paul’s part of the New Testament. Everything else belongs to the Jews. They are the chosen people. Not you. So you better try to get in GOD’s good graces. And you will NOT do that in making the rich richer but in helping the poor, feeding your old mother and your hungry children. If you go for ordering the new Bentley, be advised, you will end up where Jesus told you that you would. And I heard that it is supposed to be warm. Very warm.

Jesus is on His own in the US

The Democrat's donation machine is back in full swing. Today they asked me to donate because the Republicans pulled off their - admittedly scary - pre-want-to-be-Presidential debate. Since it is really hard for me to believe that my fellow Americans would really commit this kind of political suicide, I am not really worried about anything that was said there. America is smarter than that.

Since I had hoped for some Christian support from the Democrats - Jesus was a real liberal - I am deeply disappointed that they only support the corporate agenda and not the American people. Here my brief answer to their donation request.

"Since Obama has promised everything and kept nothing I will not donate for now. Let me tell you that I am deeply disappointed that the Democrats fulfill the Republican agenda (who in turn moved to the right to leave some space for you). Civil Rights have not been reinstated, a possible single payer system for healthcare was taken off the table, because Democrats are just as bought and bribed as the Republicans by the big Corporations, BP is off the hook for the whole mess - it is sad to see. Since you already get paid by the big corporations that destroy our country please do not expect me to add funding to this endeavor. I will contribute again when promises are kept, Change is imminent (for the good, not this one) and our country is being lead on the right path again. Thanks."

And in addition to this situation Anthony Weiner, who was on the correct side of things politically succumbed to the temptations of the modern technology and took himself out the equation by "Sexting". And the Democrats sacrificed him readily and happily because he was a thorn in their flesh as well. He tried to get something positive done for the American people and this is currently not on any of the political agendas in our country.

Unfortunately Jesus has not real lobby in the US anymore. His teachings are distorted and misinterpreted for the sake of corporate gains and to gain and maintain power over the people who should and could know better if they would read the Bible. All they do is listen to right-wing operatives in the Media, corporately paid, controlled and misguided preachers and to Televangelists who sell the message that they are paid to advertise.  Jesus is on his own, only supported by a few charitable Organizations that do the Government's job, while the funds that should rebuild America are routed to richest of the rich for their pleasure. America deserves something - a lot - better.

Amen

Suppressed Truth in the US -
Here are the 25 Top Articles of 2010

If you read my commentaries regularly, you know that I am steadily criticizing the suppression of the truth or the telling of lies. To give you a heads up what is going on in the Media department, here another article from our friends at www.WantToKnow.info, who keep track of the Truth.

Project Censored specializes in covering the top stories which were subjected to censorship either by being ignored or downplayed by the mainstream media each year. The Project Censored research team is composed of over 200 university faculty, students, and community experts drawn from an international network of 30 colleges and universities. This capable team annually reviews up to 1,000 news story submissions for content, reliability of sources, and significance. The top 25 stories selected are submitted to a distinguished panel of judges who rank them in order of importance. The results are published each year in an excellent book available for purchase at their website, amazon.com, and major book stores.

A summary of the top 10 media censorship stories of 2010 provided below proves quite revealing and most informative. Each summary has a link for those who want to read the entire article. For whatever reason the mainstream media won't report these stories. Yet thanks to the Internet and wonderful, committed groups like Project Censored, the news is getting out to those who want to know. By revealing these examples of media censorship, we can stop the excessive secrecy and work together for a brighter future. And don't miss the section on little-known inspiring stories, too. Please help to spread the word, and take care.

Note: Major parts of these summaries were taken from an article by Rebecca Bowe at the SF Bay Guardian.

Top 10 Stories of 2010 Subjected to Media Censorship

1. Global Plans to Replace the Dollar (For full story, click here)

Since the financial meltdown of 2008 sent a jarring ripple effect throughout the global economy, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has been talking up the idea of an international market that doesn't use the U.S. dollar as a global reserve currency. The dollar now holds the status of the predominant anchor currency held in foreign exchange reserves, securing the United States' strategic economic position. In July of 2009 at the Group of Eight Summit in Italy, President Medvedev underscored his call for a newly conceived "united future world currency" when he pulled a sample coin from his pocket and showed it off to heads of state, the Bloomberg news service reported. And the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development suggested in a report that the present system of using the dollar as the world's reserve currency should be subject to a wholesale reconsideration, according to an article in the U.K.'s Telegraph.

2. US Department of Defense is the Worst Polluter on the Planet (Full story here)

The U.S. military burns through 320,000 barrels of oil a day. Yet that tally doesn't factor in fuel consumed by contractors, or the energy and resources used to produce bombs, grenades, missiles or other weapons of the Department of Defense. By every measure, the Pentagon is the largest institutional user of petroleum products – yet it has a blanket exemption in commitments made by the United States to curb greenhouse gas emissions. Despite its status as top polluter, the Department of Defense received little attention during talks at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. Meanwhile, human health is threatened by the long-term environmental impacts of military operations throughout the globe. And depleted uranium contamination from the Iraq conflict has been linked to widespread health problems. "The greatest single assault on the environment comes from one agency," author Barry Sanders wrote in The Green Zone: The Environmental Costs of Militarism, "the Armed Forces of the United States."

3. Internet Privacy and Personal Access at Risk (For full story, click here)

The Cybersecurity Act was proposed in June of 2009, giving the president the power to "declare a cyber security emergency" and do whatever is necessary to diffuse a cyber attack. The Senate Homeland Security Committee approved a comprehensive cybersecurity bill this past June, which has drawn sharp criticism for the inclusion of a provision that would allow the president to shut down networks in the event of an emergency. Reporting in Wired, Noah Schachtman broke the story that the Central Intelligence Agency was investing in Visible Technologies, a software firm that can collect, rank and analyze millions of posts on blogs, online forums, Flickr, Youtube, Twitter and other social media sites. Wired also reported that the Obama administration had followed the lead of George W. Bush by urging a federal judge to set aside a ruling in a spy case weighing whether a U.S. president may bypass Congress and establish a program of eavesdropping on Americans without warrants.

4. ICE Operates Secret Detention and Courts (For full story, click here)

The federal office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is confining people in 186 unlisted and unmarked subfield offices, many in suburban office parks or commercial spaces that reveal no information about their ICE tenants. Reporting in The Nation, Jacqueline Stevens describes ICE's jail network and the agency's penchant for secrecy when it comes to withholding public information about the facilities. "The absence of a real-time database tracking people in ICE custody means ICE has created a network of secret jails," Stevens wrote. "Subfield offices enter the time and date of custody after the fact, a situation ripe for errors ... as well as cover-ups." As a result, detainees can literally be "lost" by attorneys or family members for days or weeks at a time after being transferred.

5. Blackwater (Xe): The Secret US War in Pakistan (For full story, click here)

The notorious private military contractor Blackwater has changed its name to Xe Services, but it hasn't escaped scrutiny. According to a story that ran in The Nation in December 2009, the contractor is at the center of a covert program in Pakistan run by the U.S. Joint Special Operations Command in the city of Karachi. Blackwater (Xe) is involved in planning targeted assassinations of suspected Taliban and al-Qaida operatives and helps direct a U.S. military drone bombing campaign that runs parallel to the well-documented CIA predator strikes, according to a well-placed source within the U.S. military. The Pentagon has disputed the claim, stating, "There are no U.S. military strike operations being conducted in Pakistan." More recently, The New York Times reported that Blackwater had created a web of more than 30 shell companies to win defense contracts, and specifically mentioned that the company employees had loaded bombs and missiles onto predator drones in Pakistan.

6. Health Care Restrictions Cost Thousands of Lives in US (For full story, click here)

As the health-care debate raged on and Americans heard over and over again about supposed "death panels" and the government's infringement on personal freedom, one important study was largely drowned out. Research led by the Johns Hopkins Children's Center revealed that lack of health insurance may have figured into 17,000 childhood deaths among hospitalized children in the U.S. in the span of less than two decades. The results of a study published in the Journal of Public Health compared more than 23 million hospital records from 37 states between 1988 and 2005, and found that uninsured children in the study were 60 percent more likely to die in the hospital than those with insurance. "Can we say with absolute certainty that 17,000 children would have been saved if they had health insurance? Of course not," notes a co-investigator. "From a scientific perspective, we are confident in our finding that thousands of children likely died because they lacked insurance or because of factors directly related to a lack of insurance."

7. External Market Forces Wreak Havoc in Africa (For full story, click here)

Vast tracts of land are being purchased by wealthy nations from mostly poor, developing countries in order to produce crops for export. Throughout the African continent, an estimated 50 million hectares (200,000 square miles) of land have been acquired or are in the process of being negotiated for purchase over the last several years, with international agribusinesses, investment banks, hedge funds, and commodity traders leading the rush for cheap, undeveloped, arable land. Ethiopia has approved at least 815 foreign-financed agriculture projects since 2007, but the food that is produced there will be exported rather than used to feed the 13 million people in need of food aid in that country. Food shortages and riots in 28 countries in 2008, declining water supplies, climate change and huge population growth together have made land attractive. Africa has the most land and, compared with other continents, it is cheap.

8. Massacre in Peruvian Amazon over US Free Trade Agreement (Full story here)

While this story highlighted a "massacre in the Amazon," a later installment appeared in the Huffington Post titled "Victory in the Amazon." On June 5, 2009, 50 or more Peruvian Amazon Indians were massacred after a 57-day protest against the implementation of decrees under the Free Trade Agreement with the U.S. These decrees would have opened vast swaths of indigenous land in the Peruvian Amazon to private investment by gas, mining, and oil companies. This prompted Amazon peoples to block highways and gas and oil pipelines. But the conflict escalated when armed Peruvian government agents attacked the protesters with rifles and, according to eye witnesses, burned bodies and threw them into a river. In the aftermath Peru's Congress voted 82 to 12 to repeal two of the decrees that the indigenous groups had been standing against. Daysi Zapata, a representative of the association of indigenous groups, celebrated the triumph: "Today is an historic day. We are thankful because the will of the indigenous peoples has been taken into account."

9. Human Rights Abuses Continue in Palestine (For full story, click here)

While there is a great deal of coverage of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Project Censored highlights little-discussed human rights abuses. An Amnesty International report charges that Israel is denying Palestinians the right to access adequate water by maintaining total control over the shared water resources and pursuing discriminatory policies. Other articles detail how Israel had begun barring movement between Israel and the West Bank for those holding a foreign passport, including humanitarian aid workers and thousands of Palestinian residents. After a 15-month study conducted by an international team of scholars, the Human Sciences Research Council of South Africa concluded that Israel is, from the perspective of international law, an occupying power in Palestinian territories which implements a system of apartheid. Rare mainstream media glimpses of Israel's apartheid system, like the CBS 60 Minutes segment 'Is Peace Out of Reach?' in January 2009, air and then fade away after drawing vitriolic, selectively focused criticism.

10. US Funds and Supports the Taliban (For full story, click here)

While this story appeared on the front pages of the New York Times and the Washington Post, they omitted some key facts. The Nation broke the story, and at the time Project Censored was researching it, there was nary a mention in the mainstream media of how American tax dollars wind up in the hands of the Taliban. In some cases, money goes to Afghan companies run by former Taliban members like President Hamid Karzai's cousin, Ahmad Rateb Popal, who was charged in the 1980s with conspiring to import heroin into the United States. U.S. military contractors in Afghanistan also pay suspected insurgents to protect supply routes. "It is an accepted fact of the military logistics operation in Afghanistan that the U.S. government funds the very forces American troops are fighting," according to the Nation story.

11. H1N1 Swine Flu Pandemic: Manipulating Data to Enrich Drug Companies (Full story here)

The H1N1 virus spawned widespread panic and fear throughout the world. However, upon closer examination, many of the claims made by the World Health Organization (WHO) seem to be based on weak and incomplete data. The Atlanta-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) created and used data to grossly exaggerate the need for an expensive and unnecessary vaccine aimed at creating profits for the pharmaceutical industry—not protecting Americans. For summaries of dozens of major media articles exposing clear manipulation and profiteering on the fear generated around the swine flu, click here.

12. Cuba Provided the Greatest Medical Aid to Haiti after the Earthquake (Full story here)

Cuba was the first to come into Haiti with medical aid when the January 12, 2010, earthquake struck. Among the many donor nations, Cuba and its medical teams played a major role in treating Haiti’s earthquake victims. Public health experts say the Cubans were the first to set up medical facilities among the debris and to revamp hospitals immediately after the earthquake struck. Their pivotal work in the health sector has, however, received scant media coverage. It is striking that there was virtually no mention in the media of the fact that Cuba had several hundred health personnel on the ground before any other country.

13. Obama Cuts Domestic Spending, Increases Military Corporate Welfare (Full story here)

President Obama’s decision to increase military spending this year and in the future will result in the greatest administrative military spending since World War II. This decision is being made in spite of continued evidence of extreme waste, fraud, abuse, and corporate welfare in the military budget. At the same time, spending on “non-security” domestic programs such as education, nutrition, energy, and transportation will be frozen, resulting in inflationary cuts to essential services for the US public over the upcoming years. 14. Increased Tensions with Unresolved 9/11 Issues (For full story, click here)

Several contentious issues still plague the US government and their version of the events of 9/11. How did WTC Building 7 fall? Where is Osama bin Laden? How could US air defense fail so completely? Mountains of evidence that suggest that American citizens were told little about the truth of the biggest single-day attack on their homeland in history. Are the hundreds of politicians and professors and over 1,000 architects and engineers who have raised serious questions about the official story dangerous conspiracy theorists? 15. Bhopal Water Still Toxic Twenty-five Years After Deadly Gas Leak (For full story, click here)

Around midnight on December 2, 1984, the citizens of Bhopal, India, a city of over 500,000 people in central India, were poisoned by approximately forty tons of toxic gases pouring into the night air from a largely abandoned chemical insecticide plant owned by the US-owned Union Carbide Corporation (UCC). The long-predicted gas leak at UCC was, and remains today, the worst industrial disaster in history.

16. US Presidents Charged with Crimes Against Humanity as Universal Jurisdiction Dies in Spain (For full story, click here)

In October 2009, under great pressure from the US, the government of Spain limited its own jurisdiction in cases of genocide and crimes against humanity, thus closing one of the last windows of accountability for the most serious crimes committed by the most powerful nations on Earth. Under international law, such crimes fall under the universal jurisdiction of any nation, whether one’s own citizens are victims or not. The logic is that crimes against humanity are offenses against every member of the human species—a crime against all.

17. Nanotech Particles Pose Serious DNA Risks to Humans, Environment (Full story here)

Personal products you may use daily and think are harmless—cosmetics, suntan lotion, socks, and sports clothes—may all contain atom-sized nanotech particles, some of which have been shown to sicken and kill workers in plants using nanotechnology. Known human health risks include severe and permanent lung damage. Cell studies indicate genetic DNA damage. Extremely toxic to aquatic wildlife, nanoparticles pose clear risks to many species and threaten the global food chain.

18. The True Cost of Chevron (For full story, click here)

Chevron’s 2008 annual report to its shareholders is a glossy celebration heralding the company’s most profitable year in its history. Profits of $24 billion catapulted Chevron past General Electric to become the second most profitable corporation in the United States. The oil company’s 2007 revenues were larger than the gross domestic product (GDP) of 150 nations. So who benefited from the record high gas prices of 2008?

19. Obama Administration Assures World Bank and International Monetary Fund a Free Reign of Abuse (For full story, click here)

In April 2009, US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner hosted meetings with finance ministers from the world’s top economies to discuss increased oversight of the global financial system in the wake of the meltdown. The meetings preceded semi-annual gatherings of the IMF and World Bank in Washington, DC. The April G20 meeting in London secured a lot of positive media attention after world leaders announced a global package of $1.1 trillion for economic recovery and reform, mostly for the IMF. The plan, however, did not include specific information about the much needed operational reforms to the IMF and the World Bank.

20. Obama’s Charter School Policies Spread Segregation and Undermine Unions (For full story, click here)

Charter schools continue to stratify students by race, class, and sometimes language, and are more racially isolated than traditional public schools in virtually every state and large metropolitan area in the country. Charter schools are often marketed as incubators of educational innovation, and they form a key feature of the Obama administration’s school reform agenda. But in some urban communities, they may be fueling de facto school segregation and undermining public education.

21. Western Lifestyle Continues Environmental Footprint (For full story, click here)

Rajendra Pachauri, the United Nation’s leading climate scientist, warned that Western society must enact radical changes and reform measures if it is to avoid the worst effects of climate change. Pachauri, chair of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), told the Observer that Western society urgently needs to develop a new value system of “sustainable consumption.” The Nobel Prize winner stated, “Today we have reached the point where consumption and people’s desire to consume has grown out of proportion.”

22. 1.2 Billion People in India to be Given Biometric ID Cards (For full story, click here)

India’s 1.2 billion citizens are to be issued biometric identification cards. The cards will hold the person’s name, age, and birth date, as well as fingerprints or iris scans, though no caste or religious identification. Within the next five years a giant computer will hold the personal details of at least 600 million citizens, making this new information technology system the largest in the world. The project will cost an estimated $3.5 billion. The 600 million Indians will receive a 16-digit identity number by 2014.

23. Afghan War: Largest Military Coalition in History (For full story, click here)

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) has become history’s first global army. Never before have soldiers from so many states served in the same war theater, much less the same country. At the eighth anniversary of the United States’ invasion of Afghanistan, the world is witness to a twenty-first-century armed conflict waged by the largest military coalition in history.

24. War Crimes of General Stanley McChrystal (For full story, click here)

McChrystal is a man accused of committing war crime atrocities as head of the Pentagon's infamous Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC). Established in 1980, JSOC is a special black operations commando unit of the Navy Seals and Delta Force so clandestine that the Pentagon for years refused to acknowledge its existence. Its special ops teams were a virtual executive office assassination wing engaged in extrajudicial killings, systemic torture, and bombing of civilian communities. Most of what McChrystal has done over a 33-year career, including service between 2003 and 2008 as commander of the JSOC, remains classified.

25. Prisoners Still Brutalized at Gitmo (For full story, click here)

In Guantánamo, the notorious but seldom-discussed thug squad, officially known as the Immediate Reaction Force (IRF), deployed by the US military remains very much active. IRF is an extrajudicial terror squad, the existence of which has been documented since the early days of Guantánamo. IRF has rarely been mentioned in the United States media or in congressional inquiries into torture.

Please keep telling and spreading the Truth! Have a wonderful and prosperous year 2011!

Burning the Quran –
from one Extremist to another

There is no difference between so-called Christian or Muslim extremists. Both want the same: Violence against others in the name of the same GOD.  And they either have a political agenda or are plain stupid. Burning the Quran requires a lot of both.

The Rev. Terry Jones, the "religious leader" of a church of 50.  Yes, fifty.  This would not be so bad, if there was intelligence or any kind of knowledge about the subject behind this action of burning something.  Burning a book is in itself already an action of highest stupidity. If he would burn all the books he did not understand, he should start with the Bible.  Christians do not burn books – or flags for that matter.  Jones has proclaimed Islam as devil's religion – without ever having read it, has called on the people to burn a Quran on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States – which were very likely carried out by Christians for the benefit of VP Cheney’s Corporation. Jones says that he does not personally know any Muslims, he is a man who does not know where the Sharia law came from, and has apparently learned the little, if any, that he knows about Islam by watching YouTube videos.

The German poet Heinrich Heine already wrote in 1821: "Where they burn books, they will ultimately also burn people". He was right at that time, he was right – long after his death - about the Nazis who first burned the books and later the people. And we are at this starting point of violence against humanity again. This time in our own country.

Adding to this equation is that there is only one GOD. And one GOD means that there is only ONE.  The Quran derives in large parts from Christian and Judean Writings. From the Torah and the Bible which have influenced Mohammad all his life and also during the creation of the Quran.  Considering the fact that GOD is not a flawed individual but GOD, he is not jealous, or violent – (If you believe in Jesus Christ, how could you ever consider violence, lies or deception as an option in the first place?  If you do, you are NOT a Christian – you are not Muslim either, because the Quran is actually a book of peace and Islam is a religion of peace!) he sent Jesus Christ to bring us this message of Non-violence.  Christ as in Christian – you call yourself Christian, you subscribe to the message of Love, Peace and Understanding. Turning the other cheek is one of your duties being a Christian.

But back to the morons in Florida. Now there is one crazy person with a following of 50 probably equally disturbed and ignorant bystanders who wants to burn a book he does not even know to help reignite the hated of Muslim extremists who are just as stupid as his own flock, while the silent majority of peaceful Christians and Muslims is standing by in awe.  How can this moron get so much attention?  If you burn a book you don’t even know, you cannot set a signal. You just show that you are an idiot.

Talking about idiots, please allow me one more observation that is really stunning. Only in America Christians will follow a Mormon to crucify another Christian. I am talking about Glen Beck's crusade against the Christian Barack Obama.  Please be aware that Glen Beck is a racist by design. Mormons think that Black people are black because GOD punished them for being bad. Mormon Glen Beck is using American Christians - admittedly not bright ones - to help his Mormon agenda to fight the Black guy.  And everyone should be aware of the fact that Barack Obama is a Christian, not a Muslim.

GOD's signs ignored by
so called 'Pro-lifers'...

Pro lifers are really insane. This is a statement I can absolutely support. One of my favorite email spammers is a religious nut who somehow got the idea that he would have to save unborn life. Besides the point that he also got me on the spamming list of the Teabaggers (!), he began collecting money, because his life was falling apart. His son had serious health challenges and his money to kill mothers and protect the fetus was running out. So he began begging for money in his emails. I had the audacity to write the following email to help him re-evaluate his situation - because those are usually signs that someone is straying off GOD's intended way:

Dear Randall,

Did you ever consider that GOD keeps sending you those signs because he does not want you to continue on your way? Sometimes “pro life” means death for another person or a life in torture when a child is really not wanted. Maybe GOD is trying to ask you to reconsider your position.

Our prayers are with you and your family.

And the answer came fast from an email address that is called [email protected]' which gives me the idea that his agenda might be very political indeed. The good thing is that the spamming has stopped - at least for now he has unsubscribed me from the never solicited hatemail-list of his money-begging email account. So, here his answer:

Honestly, are you demon possessed? Think through the logic of what you just said. Are you demon possessed? Would you know if you were?

Isn't it amazing how little people think about GOD's will and signs. If Jesus Christ would appear today - and maybe he has - the so called Christians would lynch him because of his 'socialist agenda'. And people like Mr. Teabag himself never consider GOD or even look into the Bible to see if their insanity is in any way supported by the word of GOD... They think that they turned into GOD, kill Doctors that actually save lives or applaud the murderers of those who actually save lives instead of living in a bubble of satanic ignorance and insanity.

Please understand that I am very much for Life, I love children and I am not for abortion as a means of replacing a condom. But when the life of the mother is at stake, or if the child would be born into a situation where he or she would suffer all her life because of being an unwanted child, then there should be the option to save their lives. I will never understand that people who want to kill mothers call themselves pro-life.  Sanity is from GOD.

Let's pray for them.

Amen
